You should calculate all the materials you need before placing the order. So there won't be too much waste or lack. For beginners, It is recommended to buy a little more than you need. Since there might be some issues when you do it for the first time. 

For corners greater or equal to 90 degrees, you could let the cable go through the hole directly.

For corners less than 90 degrees, you will need to use another pair of terminals, since you might not be able to tension the cable with an acute angle. 

We recommend that cable spacing should not be more than 3" in most states and it should passed the4" sphere test. The post spacing should not exceed 6 feet according to the code of California.

You will need some cable railing fittings and stainless steel cable. The quantity depends on the dimensions of your project. In almost all cases, you will need a hydraulic crimper to swage the fittings so the cable could be fixed firmly. Unless your fittings are wageless.

To determine the LED channel you need, consider the following factors: Application: Decide whether you need a surface-mounted, recessed, suspended, kickboard, or DIY LED channel based on your installation requirements. LED
Strip Size: Measure the width of your LED strip to ensure it fits properly within the LED channel.
Installation Method: Choose an LED channel that is compatible with your desired installation method, whether it's surface mounting, embedding, suspending, or attaching as a kickboard.

General installation

① Check the proper installation position and measure the required LED channel length

② Cut aluminum channels as needed

③ Mark the hole location to install the mounting clip

④ Fixed the mounting clip with self-tapping screws

⑤ Put the aluminum channel on the mounting clip

⑥ Attach the LED strip to the channel

⑦ Melt the solder joint of the LED strip, remove the wire and pass it through the hole of the end cap

⑧ Solder the terminals to the light strip

⑨ Install the cover on the LED channel

⑩ Install end caps on both sides（The gap can be sealed with hot melt glue）
